Trend Watch: Bird and Star Prints

Dolce and Gabbana set the star trend,  Miu Miu set the bird trend. These are fun unusual prints to incorporate in your wardrobe. Be careful of overkill though - if you opt for a printed skirt go for a neutral shirt or blouse and vice versa. Accessories are always a subtle way to incorporate trends into your wardrobe - add bird or star printed scarf, hair piece or handbag to your outfit and you're set. Trendy without being O.T.T.

The fashion world's infatuation with blue blood continues. French Vogue's editor at large Emmanuel Alt cleverly plays on this royal obsession of late by putting Charlotte Casiraghi on the magazine's September cover. Charlotte is unquestionably the most naturally stylish royal and it is only fitting that the she be photographed by one of the most gifted photographers in the world Mr. Testino.

Lauren Conrad vs Whitney Port

Former Hills stars, L.C and Whitney Port  have realised new collections within in weeks of one another - lets call the timing a coincidence.  Lauren's "Paper Crown Collection" is completely on trend featuring leather shorts, silk blouses, blazers and tiered maxi dresses. Whitney's "Whitney Eve Collection" explores gorgeous aztec and marble prints, knit blazers and silk trousers. So who makes the better designer? Which collection would you want to be hanging in your closet?

Royals top Vanity Fair Best Dressed List

Royalty ruled the Vanity Fair Best Dressed List this year, Kate Middelton, our very own Princess Charlene and Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser were all included in 72nd annual list. Sheikha who? Wife of His Royal Highness Emir of Qatar. One of the most interesting and mysterious women on the list, we just had to share her jaw droppping style with you. This woman epitomizes elegance, the latest Royal to be added to our princess watch.

I've always wanted to be Karl Lagerfeld's muse, to live in everything Chanel. Work in Chanel, Shop in Chanel, Dine in Chanel, Sleep in Chanel, Marry in Chanel, Die in Chanel. The only thing that stood between me and the undisputed King of Fashion's collection for Fall 2011 was affordability . King Karl knew this in his heart of hearts and so collaborated with Macy's. All the elements of the Chanel couture show  - tweed, monochrome, and fuchsia as well as polo necks, peter pan collar's and leather - lots of it - leather shorts, tights, gloves and waist coats. If I can't be his muse I'll wear him on my chest - the graphic tee's are incred.
